The Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Certificate is a 12-week program with three major 4-week modules. The DAM and AI Certificate is part of the DAM Silver Certificate offerings at Rutgers Continuing and Professional Studies (CPS) at the School of Communication and Information (SC&I). Learners who engage in this certificate are graduates of the DAM Bronze Certificate program or are experienced professionals within the field of DAM.
This digital asset management silver certificate is designed to provide a practical grounding in artificial intelligence (AI) fundamentals, strategy, and its application for Digital Asset Management (DAM) through the completion of three courses.
Professionals will gain the skills and knowledge they need to lead well-informed program planning and scoping to identify the opportunities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in DAM by understanding how AI can support their organization’s goals and journey.
Each course in the certificate program equips individuals with the knowledge and confidence they need to grow their organization's DAM capabilities and introduce AI as a catalyst for innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
These courses will teach professionals how to use AI to assess and improve their organization's digital asset management (DAM) processes and results. They will learn about the different ways that AI can be used in DAM, including automatic tagging and categorization, content search and discovery, recommendations and personalization, workflow automation, risk mitigation, analytics, and reporting.
Professionals will also learn from case studies of how other organizations have used AI to improve their DAM. By completing this certificate, they will be able to develop a plan to introduce new AI capabilities to their organization and/or improve existing possibilities to improve their organization's DAM effectiveness. A key intention is to give DAM leaders insights to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of AI and emerge as leaders in the field.
This silver certificate is valuable for professionals in any industry who use or plan to use AI in conjunction with DAM to manage their digital assets. It is also valuable for organizations that are looking to upskill overall capabilities to improve the value of existing DAM workflows and overall capabilities.
