Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance

This program meets International Coaching Federation (ICF) Accredited Coach Training Program (Level 2 / ACTP) educational requirements up to the PCC (Professional Certified Coach) level.

Delivered in partnership with Heidrick & Struggles, participants complete the course in a cohort of up to 24 participants and receive 132 instructional hours divided into 12-full day interactive sessions, 1:1 feedback with three mentor coaches who will review the six recorded coaching sessions, and complete 2 assessments to demonstrate proficiency with the ICF Core Competencies. This course will help participants develop the cognitive, emotional, and body awareness required for self-mastery in becoming effective coaches. After completing the required coaching hours, participants will be eligible to apply for the ICF Credentialing exam.

The students will gain knowledge about the 21st-century leadership using this earning criteria:

  • Leadership Coaching Foundation: Explore what makes an insightful and effective coach by examining the foundations of coaching and how they’re built upon a strong understanding of adult learning.

  • Creating Awareness: Discover how to be fully present, how to build trust, and how to establish authenticity with business coaching clients.

  • Language and Emotion: Learn to appreciate and understand language and emotions to create lasting, purposeful conversations with clients.

  • Performance and Change: Learn to apply your developing coaching skills to improve both accountability and business performance. Help clients and their organizations generate strong returns from their investment and confidence in you as a coach.

  • The Process and Business of Coaching: Explore how to make your insights pay for both you and your clients. Decide how to define and differentiate your executive coaching niche and promote your unique brand and value.

Earning Criteria

Required

course

Attend all synchronous sessions and seven 1-hour video conferences during the weeks that classes are not in session.

experience

Complete six recorded coaching sessions and meet with mentor coaches (satisfies the 10 mentor hours.)

exam

Submit a written open-book exam plus a recording of a coaching session to demonstrate their knowledge of the ICF core competencies. The final evaluation is completed by the instructional team.

  • Upon passing the exam, a Certificate of Completion will be issued which can be submitted to the ICF when applying for their ACC and PCC certifications.
